State AUTHORIZATION

Kilns College received formal approval for both the 1-year Biblical Studies and 1-year Bible & Art Degree from the Oregon Department of Degree Authorization (ODA). In 2010 Kilns College was approved by the ODA to offer a 2-year Associates Degree in Biblical Studies, which will be implemented in 2011. Kilns College is not accredited through a regional accrediting organization, which could affect the decision of a receiving school when transferring credits. The following is ODA’s formal statement regarding this approval:

This school is a unit of a nonprofit corporation authorized by the State of Oregon To offer and confer the academic degree [diploma] described herein, following a determination that state academic standards will be satisfied under OAR 583-030.
