Applying to Kilns College


All students applying to Kilns College must complete an Application form and send in the required documents in order to be reviewed for admissions.

Degree Seeking Students

Please submit the following to be reviewed for admission to Kilns College:
  • Admission Application
  • Application Fee $45 (non-refundable)
  • Application Essays
  • High School Transcripts
  • College Transcripts (if completed more than 12 units at another college)
If you wish to pay your application fee by credit card, use the space provided on the application form. If you are paying by check, put your name on the memo line and attach it to the application.

Application Deadlines

The admissions application deadline for the Fall 2010 semester is June 30, 2010. Applying for Spring 2011 the deadline is December 2nd, 2010. Applications will be accepted after the deadline, upon space available.

Transcripts

Submit an official high school transcript. Transcripts will be considered official only when sent directly from the institution to Kilns College. Students must have a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA to apply. A passing GED score is acceptable in place of a High School Transcript.

College transcripts are required and admissions will be based on the college GPA, if a student has completed more than 12 units at the college level. Students who have attained a Bachelor's degree only need to submit official college transcripts and not their high school transcripts.

High School Students must be 16 years or older to apply for admissions to Kilns College. Once accepted to Kilns College a high school student will be allowed to take a maximum of 12 credits their first semester. Students enrolled in high school who attend at Kilns College are fully responsible for complying with all policies and procedures of the College and maintain a GPA of 2.0. As such, parents cannot access student records (grades, class schedule, attendance, etc.) without written permission from the student. Although College staff can provide academic advising, it cannot interpret high school requirements or act in a supervisory role.

Home School Students are required to submit an official transcript. The transcript should include a list of classes taken, letter grade received, cumulative GPA, graduation date, and a signature from the home schooling parent or agency representative
