Emmanuel is the visionary, founder and leader of Partners Trust International (PTI). He is a graduate of All Nations Christian College in the UK. He holds a B.A.(Hon) degree in Biblical and Intercultural studies and an M.A. degree in Aspects of Christian Missiology.

Emmanuel served for 14 Years with the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES, also known in the US as Intervarsity) first as the General Secretary for Burundi and then as the Training and Traveling Secretary for Francophone Africa.

Ed oversees the ministries of Church of the Open Door. In 2000 God stretched his faith when Ed almost died from a vicious and chronic disease.

His book, When God Breaks Your Heart is the story of how he and his wife honestly struggled with God’s love and care for them and discovered new depths to His grace and mercy. They’re asking the Lord to use his little book to connect broken hearts to Jesus.
