President
Ken grew up all over the US and in Holland, finally ending up on the east coast. He attended Clemson University in South Carolina where he received a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He went on to pursue graduate studies in California where he received a MA in Philosophy as well as a MA in Biblical Studies from Biola University. Ken planted Antioch Church in Bend, Oregon in 2006 where he serves as the Lead Pastor. Highly entrepreneurial, Ken helped to co found the World Relief: NEXT project, which is a highly creative and collaborative endeavor in the Northwest serving as a research and development program with World Relief.
Ken is married to Tamara and has four beautiful daughters (Mary Joy, Esther, Sara, and Ashlin).
Dean of Faculty
Michael Caba holds a M.A. in Philosophy & Religion, a Bachelors Degree in Biblical Education and an Associates Degree in Engineering. He has completed volunteer archaeology work in Israel, and has taught a number of classes for various organizations on Biblical, historical, philosophical and religious topics over the years.
Registrar/Librarian
Born in California and raised in western Oregon, Merrilee Lewis has a passion for the written word and Christian education. Merrilee received a BA in Business from Portland State University and is working on her Certificate of Apologetics from Biola University. She is an author and an editor. The mother of three daughters, she teaches her kids at home and volunteers as the Registrar/Librarian for Kilns College.
Dean of Admissions & Students
Trisha grew up Portland, OR and moved to California to attend Biola University where she completed a degree in Business Marketing. After graduating she took a position as an Admission Counselor for four years where she discovered her passion for promoting higher education. She has three incredible children; Madalyn, Andra, and Jude. In 2008, her husband Justin, took the Worship Pastoral position at Antioch church, which moved them to Bend.
Controller
Sheryl is a native Oregonian who was raised in Portland. Due to her love for the outdoors and her gifting in the Arts, she moved to Bend in 1987 where she met her husband, John. Sheryl has a passion for interior design and vintage fabrics, loves to travel and read historical fiction. Sheryl has been a part of Kilns College since it's founding.
