Yes, Kilns College is a Christian college.

Are my credits transferrable to other colleges and universities?

Kilns College has formal credit transfer agreements, which guarantee our students that much of their Kilns College credits will be accepted when they transfer at George Fox University, Corban College, Multnomah Bible College, Warner Pacific College and Eugene Bible College.

The admissions departments at Wheaton College, Biola University, Westmont College, Simpson College, Seattle Pacific University, Northwest Christian College and Eastern Oregon University have sent us written word that they will consider accepting credits earned at Kilns College.

Note: If you know you will eventually be transferring to a specific four-year institution, it is best to consult that school’s catalog to be assured that the courses taken at Kilns College are also offered there. Most colleges do not accept transfer credits from other institutions for courses they do not offer.

I’m very interested in Foreign Missions. How does Kilns College help me pursue that goal?

Kilns College is unique in its missions focus. The whole educational philosophy is designed around the idea that everyone has a calling to be on mission with God in this world… whether as an artist, businessman, engineer, teacher, aid worker – either locally in the states or abroad in Africa, Asia, South America or Timbuktu.

Some specific points on missions are:
    • Study abroad opportunities in third world countries
    • Missions opportunities through our missions partners
    • Networking and interaction with key people in national and international missions, relief and development organizations
    • Classes designed specifically on the history of missions, cultural anthropology, contemporary issues in missions and development and much more
    • There will be regular guest lectureships from experts in the field of missions, development and social justice
    • We are pursuing a sister school relationship with PTI, a new school beginning in Burundi, Africa
    • Our mission partners are the means with which we ground our vision as a “Missions School” as well as provide trips, networks, opportunities and relationships for them as they explore their future role in changing the world
    • We are currently partnered with World Relief Next, offering a variety of trips throughout Africa and Asia, Youth World International, offering a trip to Quito, Ecuador and Eternity Bible College, offering an exciting trip to Israel.
    • Students will also have a Missions Director available to help them strategize specific trips, as well as guide them towards various missions opportunities and contacts
